So, the album title. In the last post, I had already talked in detail about conceptual influences defining the idea of the #secretalbum. One album title there led to an inspiration: the Dirty Rotten EP by D.R.I. Now, well into the 21st century, we’re no longer thinking about EPs as sound carriers – our focus in music distribution is – MP3s, exactly.
So I hereby declare a working title of Dirty Rotten MP3s, or D.R.M for short.
Of course, the double entendre with the abbreviation also standing for Digital Rights Management is well accepted, in fact, will be made use of.
